Under Nine Boys
Our Under Nine Boys put in some excellent performances this morning in the blitz played in Ballyboy. Gorey Rangers and Newpark were the visitors and some great games were played by our youngest squad. The squad of Padraig Kenny, Conor Mimnagh, Alex Kavanagh, Paddy O Neill, Rory O Neill, Cathal Tobin, Bill Bolger and Noah Ryan all played well
Under Eleven Boys
Cloughbawn AFC v Tombrack United
The Under Eleven Boys continue to improve as they travelled to Cloughbawn and produced a good passing skilful performance with Adam O Connell Byrne and Jimmy Breen standing out on the day
Under Eleven Girls
Fastnet Rovers 1 Tombrack United 2
Our Under Eleven girls sit top of the table tonight after they travelled to Rathangan and came away 2-1 winners in a very hard fought match against an improving home side. Emer Roche gave Tombrack a first half lead after Tombrack had enjoyed the better chances in the opening period of the game but the home side came out much more enthusiastic in the second half and were soon back on level terms. However, the girls showed great character to keep their composure and were rewarded with four minutes to go when Erin Tobin found the net to give Tombrack a well deserved three points
Under Thirteen Boys
Rathnure United 4 Tombrack United 2
This game was always going to be tough but our Under Thirteen boys put in a good performance against the league leaders and manager Bob Newe is already looking
Under Ten Schoolboys
Tombrack United v Ballagh United
Our Under Ten boys continue to impress and put in another fantastic performance against The Ballagh on Saturday morning. This team has a great future and produce excellent performances with each game
Under Twelve Schoolboys
FAI Junior Cup Third Round
Tombrack United 2 Naas United 3
Manager Joe Newe used this FAI Junior Cup game as an opportunity to rest some of his more regular first team starters while giving the remainder of the squad a chance to lay claim to a starting place. It took the team a while to settle into their new formation and in that period, the Kildare Premier league side took the chance to go into a 2-0 lead although Tombrack did create chances and Savo was unfortunate not to score. Five minutes before the break, Naas were reduced to ten men when one of their players was dismissed for abuse
Due to the poor weather conditios, all Schoolboy and Schoolgirl games are OFF this weekend
