Wexford Football League Premier Division
Tombrack United 1 Courtown Hibs 0
An early goal, strong commitment and determination, a penalty save, this game had it all as our men bounced back from last Sunday's disappointment to overcome third placed Courtown Hibs 1-0 in Ballyboy this morning. The lads got off to the ideal start when three minutes in, Kevin Kenny found the net after some good work saw the ball come through midfield to find Kevin in space and he made no mistake.
Kevin Kenny was part of the Wexford Under Eighteen side who travelled to Askeaton in Limerick to take on the home league in the second game of the FAI Youths Inter League tournament. Wexford had drawn their first game of the group at home to Waterford which was played in Gorey with Kevin contributing for seventy five minutes in the 2-2 draw with Wexford scoring in injury time to earn a point.
Wexford took the lead on 32 minutes in this game and held that lead to half time with Kevin coming on as a sub in the second half. Two further goals in the second half saw Wexford run out comfortable 3-0 winners and now are in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stages if they get a positive result against Cork
Well done to Kevin and all the squad

Wexford Football League Premier Division
Tombrack United 0 Gorey Celtic 1
The highs and lows of life in the Premier Division became evident in Ballyboy this morning when bottom club Gorey Celtic and snatched a 1-0 win. After the exciting 2-1 win away to New Ross Celtic last Sunday, Tombrack were fully aware that Gorey Celtic would not be a pushover but the home side still did enough in the match to wrap up the three points but missed chances proved crucial in the end.
