Wexford Premier Division
Moyne Rangers 0 Tombrack United 1
An overall strong team performance with some outstanding individual performances saw Tombrack travel to Enniscorthy and overcome a Moyne Rangers side who battled hard but found the team spirit of the visitors difficult to break down. Moyne started the better and after five minutes could have been 2-0 ahead only for the sharpness of Paul Darcy in the goal, his second save in particular was a fantastic reflex save as he pushed a Moyne effort over the crossbar. After this initial pressure had passed, Tombrack settled more into the game and as well as containing the home side, began to push forward themselves with John Coleman and Kevin Kenny both creating problems for the Moyne defence. Kevin should have had a penalty when bundled over in the area but the ref waved play on while at the other end, Moyne were aggrieved when they had a goal disallowed for offside
Under Thirteen Schoolboy Cup First Round
Gorey Rangers 6 Tombrack United 0
To put this match in perspective, there are five divisions between these two sides with Gorey Rangers sitting top of the league and unbeaten while Tombrack are mid-table Division Three A so it was always going to be a tough task for our lads. However, just before half

Alex Kavanagh and Stephen O Toole scored for Tombrack while Oisin Regan was outstanding in goal but it was not enough to stop a sharp Ferns side from booking their place in the second round

Tombrack United v Cloughbawn AFC
Our Under Eleven Schoolboys continued their impressive run of friendlies when they hosted Cloughbawn in Ballyboy today with both sides producing some excellent football. Both sides had great talent on display and well done to Bridget for organising these matches on a fortnightly basis, its a project that will be of great benefit to the club going forward
Under Eleven Schoolgirls Division One
Tombrack United 1 Bunclody AFC 1
The Under Eleven schoolgirls rounded off 2017 top of the table after this exciting 1-1 draw at home to local rivals Bunclody. Both these sides were unbeaten coming into this match so it was always going to be close with our girls opening the scoring when Mikayla Tobin Cosgrave found the net eight minutes into the first half. Bunclody came more and more into the game in the second half and got back on level terms midway through the half with a draw probably being fair between two
