Published: Saturday, 06 January 2018 22:05

Under Thirteen Schoolboys

Cushinstown AFC  0  Tombrack United  14

Our Under Thirteen boys are well in contention for at least second place after they comfortably overcame a young Cushinstown side, scoring fourteen without reply. Ryan Hayes was the top marksman with four goals while Robert McCrea scored twice with Stephen O Toole, Danny Dreelan, Nathan Kelly, Darragh Breen, Pierce Murphy, Mark Devereux, Oran McGovern and Conor Dillon all scoring one each. While there are still several difficult games ahead, this win will give the team a great boost and keep the pressure on the league leaders

All four of these teams play non-competitive with no results or league tables published so we are not allowed to report on their actual results but we are delighted to say that all four are doing well, fulfilling fixtures and producing some excellent performances. Well done to everyone involved in ensuring these teams take to the pitch on a regular basis as these teams will ultimately be the future of the club so to players, managers, coaches and parents, keep up the good work

Under Eleven Girls

Half way through the season these girls sit top of the table and unbeaten in their division although they still have a couple of tough games to get through as they endeavour to wrap up the title. This is a very competitive division with no weak teams so to be three points clear at the half way stage has proved to be a great
